Women Should Have More Sex To Delay Menopause

According to a new study women should have more sex to delay menopause. Women who have sex more than once a month can delay menopause, in fact, having regular sex can delay menopause in women.

Researchers discovered that women who had sex weekly were 28% less likely to face menopause than women who had sex less than once in one month.

Globally, women experience menopause at around the age of 50 normally. Some ladies also go through menopause in their 30`s or 40`s but that could happen because of some health issues or wrong lifestyle.

But in a new study, researchers have found that women`s sexual behaviour is connected with their timing of their menopause. And women should have more sex to delay menopause because having more sex can really help them to delay menopause and feel young.

Researcher found that women who had sex more than once in a month or had weekly sex, were less likely to go through menopause compared to women who were engaged in sexual activities less than monthly.

This new study used 11 years of already existing data collected from USA. This data collection had started in 1996-1997 from women between the age of 42 to 52 who didn`t face menopause yet.The women were grouped based on whether they actually engage in sexually activity weekly, monthly, daily or less than monthly.

These sexual activity also included oral sex, normal sex, masturbation and sexual touching. And guess what ? Results were found to be significant even after taking into consideration other physiological factors in women.

Such as their body mass index, the number of children married women had, their educational history and their oestrogen levels.

This link actually occurs because women`s body starts experiencing a trade off between their continued ovulation and the closing of fertility. These trade offs are very prime within biology. As the total amount of energy the body should have to use on physiological process is limited.

Which means that the energy which has been used for one thing already can never be used for something else. Which means that once this energy has been used, it is actually gone.

And in terms of menopause in women, a point comes in life where this energy invested into ovulation may be better off used elsewhere. If there is no chance of an ovulation that results into pregnancy. Ovulation takes a lot of energy to maintain eggs and release them every month.

In simple words. the body of a women makes itself ready for pregnancy but if a woman doesn`t have sex then there is not even a single chance of conception. And if the body is not getting the physical signal of getting pregnant. Then there is no use  of investing energy into this process of ovulation which is a expensive process.

And this is the only reason why researchers included these different types of sexual activity in this analysis. Because all these includes vaginal stimulation that sends signals to the body of a possible pregnancy.

Conclusion

This research shows that there is an association between sexual activity and age of menopause. And it is not suggesting that having regular sex or increased sexual activity will definitely help women to delay menopause.

There are a number of factors to the age of menopause and these levels of sexualt activity is just one of those factors. But, by spreading this news and providing women with such knowledge that behavioural and physical factors may influence the actual timing at which menopause occurs.

But in the end we can say that "Women should have more sex to delay menopause" because having a good sex life can influence their mind and body to live healthy life and it may actually delay menopause
