1. Vaseline Petroleum Jelly 

Vaseline or Vaseline Petroleum Jelly can work as a miracle if your baby, newborn, infant is suffering from constipation. Vaseline petroleum jelly is safe and effective.

Just take a little amount of Vaseline and apply it around the anus of your baby. Do this 3 to 5 times a day for two days at least.

Not only will lubrication make for a smoother passage but the extra stimulation may provoke a bowel movement.

Adults can also use  Vaseline Petroleum Jelly for constipation.

2. Massage 

 You can massage your baby`s stomach to relieve constipation.

Using your fingertip to make circular motions on the stomach of your baby in a clockwise pattern can help your baby to pass stool.

Or Holding the baby`s knees and feet together very gently and pushing the feet toward the belly very gently can also help if your baby is suffering from constipation.

3. Warm Bath

Giving your baby a warm bath can relax their abdominal muscles and help them to stop straining. It can also relieve some of the discomfort relating to constipation.

4. Warm Water With Salt 

 Take a small glass or bowl of warm water (water should not be very hot) and add a little amount of salt into it.

Now mix it and give it to your baby to drink it. (Or make your baby, newborn drink this salt water. You can use a teaspoon to make your baby drink it). This will help your baby with constipation.

5. Fruit Juice

 After a baby reaches 4 to 5 months of age, they can have a very small amount of fruit juice.

Fruit juice may help treat constipation. The sugar juice is hard to digest. As a result, more liquid enters the intestines, which helps soften and break up the stool. ( Proven by experts).
